Former Shooto 143-pound champion Alexandre "Pequeno" Nogueira is looking to return back to Japan after a disastrous WEC debut.
"I'm negotiating with my manager. We're focusing [on] Sengoku, to come back to fight in Japan," Nogueira told Tatame.com.
Signing with WEC and hyped as a possible opponent for poster boy Urijah Faber, Nogueira lost in his debut in June via TKO. To make matters worse, Nogueira tested positive for Boldenone, an anabolic steroid.
Nogueira told Tatame.com that he's not in a hurry though, as he's focusing on training his students for fights. Also, he's currently in the middle of the 12-month suspension that ends May 31, 2009.
