Middleweight GP matchups set for Sengoku 6

World Victory Road will present not one, but two Grand Prix tournament finals at Sengoku 6 on November 1.

The lightweight and middleweight semifinals and finals will take place the same night to crown tournament champions in each division.

The lightweight and middleweight tournament champ will then face Takanori Gomi and Kazuo Misaki, respectively at Sengoku 7 on January 4, 2009.

In the middleweight GP, the promotion assured that at least one Japanese will advance to the finals by matching Kazuhiro Nakamura against Yuki Sasaki. On the other side, Strikeforce tournament champ Jorge Santiago will fight Siyar Bahadurzada.

Joe Doerksen will fight Izuru Takeuchi in the middleweight reserve bout.

Previously announced for the lightweight GP was Satoru Kitaoka vs. Eiji Mitsuoka and Kazunori Yokota vs. Mizuto Hirota.

In the lightweight reserve bout, Jorge Masvidal will fight former DEEP champ Bang Seung Hwan.
