Former WWE pro wrestler Bobby Lashley joins ATT

Former WWE pro wrestler Bobby Lashley has joined the American Top Team.

Lashley, 32, carries with him a strong base in amateur wrestling. The Kansas-born big man won three national amateur wrestling championships while attending Missouri Valley College from 1995-1998. He is also a former National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) wrestling champion.

Lashley joins a camp that includes UFC competitors Thiago Alves, Thiago Silva, Wilson Gouveia, Cole Miller and Ben Saunders.

Lashley signed in June to compete for the upstart American Fight League. He is eying to make his mixed martial arts debut in December.
