A date has been set for an appeal hearing for EliteXC heavyweight champion Antonio Silva.
Silva, who tested positive for Boldenone, a steroid, after his title win on July 26, will look to prove his innocene in the hearing on October 22 at 10am in Los Angeles, California.
EliteXC is on his side so Silva has yet to be stripped of the belt, but his positive steroid test has already led to a one-year suspension and $2,500 fine from the California commission.
