UFC president Dana White confirmed the fights in a report on Yahoo! Sports.
Forrest Griffin (16-4) will make his first light-heavyweight title defense when he steps inside the cage against Rashad Evans (12-0-1), who earned the title shot last month by knocking out Chuck Liddell.
Quinton "Rampage" Jackson (28-7) will fight for the first time since dropping his belt to Griffin when he takes on Wanderlei Silva (32-8-1) for the third time. Jackson has already lost twice via knockout to Silva.
Also, the UFC heavyweight title tournament kicks off when Frank Mir (11-3) fights interim champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira (31-4-1) in a battle between coaches of this season's "The Ultimate Fighter" on Spike TV. The winner here will take on the winner of the UFC 91 bout between Randy Couture vs. Brock Lesnar.
