'K-Taro' Nakamura apologizes for lackluster DREAM 6 win

Keita "K-Taro" Nakamura isn't satisfied with his split decision over Adriano Martins at DREAM 6.

"I apologize to my fans," Nakamura wrote on his blog. "I couldn't move smoothly on the ground like I did in my last grappling event. I don't know why, but I guess I was too nervous because I didn't condition myself well for the fight."

Nakamura signed with DREAM after losing his third straight UFC fight in February. During his return to fighting on the big stage in Japan, Nakamura was content with outjabbing Martins for the decision, but says he should have taken Martins down and submitted him.

Nakamura, who described himself as "very depressed," continued: "I understand many people considered my performance not entertaining. I'll keep fighing and prove that I can do better. I won't have another fight like that again. Next time, I will win like a pro."
