Clyde Gentry III, one of the first authors to chronicle the beginning of MMA with "No Holds Barred," has been appointed the President of SUN Sports & Entertainment.
Previously the Chief Operating Officer, Gentry will now handle the duties of matchmaking, signing fights/venue and other day-to-day operations of the publicly traded company.
"My passion for this sport is as strong as ever and I look forward to executing a very aggressive business plan for SUN," Gentry said. "With a great management team and new direction, we've found a very compelling niche to bring value to SUN shareholders and continue growing the sport."
SUN Sports & Entertainment owns Art of War, Gi's vs Pro's and the IFO (Steele Cage).
