Fedor Emelianenko: 6-0 vs. UFC Champs

We've given lots of coverage to today's big announcement of a UFC heavyweight clash of the titans between Randy Couture and Brock Lesnar, so in the interest of equal time, let's also show this video of Fedor Emelianenko's highlights in his six wins against fighters who have held the UFC heavyweight title:

Emelianenko has a record of 6-0 (with one no contest) against the four former or future UFC heavyweight champs he has fought. Below is his full record in those fights.

1. March 16, 2003: Unanimous decision win over Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira (current UFC interim heavyweight champion)
2. April 25, 2004: First-round submission (arm bar) win over Mark Coleman (UFC heavyweight champion February 1997-July 1997)
3. June 20, 2004: First-round submission (kimura) win over Kevin Randleman (UFC heavyweight champion November 1999-November 2000)
4. August 15, 2004: No contest (accidental cut) vs. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira
5. December 31, 2004: Unanimous decision win over Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira
6. October 21, 2006: Second-round submission (arm bar) win over Mark Coleman
7. July 19, 2008: First-round submission (rear-naked choke) win over Tim Sylvia (UFC heavyweight champion 2003, 2006-07)

Obviously, Fedor didn't beat UFC's heavyweight champs at their best: Coleman and Randleman were well past their primes, and Nogueira may be a better all-around fighter now than he was when he fought Fedor. But the fact remains: Whether Brock Lesnar gives a s--- about Fedor or not, Fedor is 6-0 against guys who have been the UFC heavyweight champ.
