While EliteXC tells fans they need to do their own YouTube research, World Extreme Cagefighting continues to do a solid job using YouTube to promote its upcoming WEC 36 show. Here are highlights of Jens Pulver and Leonard Garcia, who will fight in a featherweight battle on the undercard:
Pulver is coming off a loss to Urijah Faber, and although Pulver got crushed, the mere fact that he went five rounds with Faber -- who entered the fight having won 12 straight in either the first or second round -- is impressive. Pulver is a former UFC lightweight champ and one of the best in history at the featherweight class, even if he's a little past his prime at age 33.
Garcia is best known to MMA fans for his decision loss to Roger Huerta at UFC 69 last year. That fight was at lightweight; like Pulver, Garcia is better suited to featherweight. WEC 36 takes place September 10 on Versus. This should be a good one.
