Sherk vs. Griffin at UFC 90 in Chicago

Former UFC lightweight champ Sean Sherk's next fight back from losing to BJ Penn at UFC 84 will be against Tyson Griffin at UFC 90: Silva vs. Cote at the Allstate Arena in Chicago on Oct. 25.

This will be Sherk's first non-title bout since April 2006. Sherk led the rebirth of the UFC's lightweight division when he dropped down from welterweight to defeat Kenny Florian at UFC 64: Unstoppable to win the vacant title, which had been ownerless for over four years.
