Ozzy Osbourne tapped for Affliction 2

The "Godfather of Heavy Metal" himself, Ozzy Osbourne, will perform at Affliction's "Day of Reckoning" Saturday, Oct. 11 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

"Every performance needs a little blood," stated Osbourne, who drew controversy in 1982 for accidentally biting a bat's head off during a musical performance. "I look forward to seeing the fighters get roughed up a bit. Performing in Las Vegas is always a good time."

The first Affliction event, "Banned," on July 19 featured musical performances by Megadeth, who entertained fans when the main event fighters were introduced in the beginning of the pay-per-view and during several breaks in between fights.
