Burkman vs. Sell at UFC 90 in Chicago

Josh Burkman and Pete Sell will collide in a welterweight bout on the undercard of UFC 90: Silva vs. Cote in Chicago on Oct 5, according to MMAWeekly.com.

Both fighters are in desperate need of the win, with Sell (7-4) losing his last four UFC fights and Burkman (9-4) winless in three of his last four fights.

Besides being one of former UFC welterweight champion Matt Serra top students, Sell (7-4) is most remembered for sending the then-struggling Phil Baroni packing out of the UFC with a guillotine choke submission win back in February 2005 at UFC 51. Sell will try his hand as a welterweight for this fight with Burkman.

Burkman, though, is of higher value for the UFC. Before his slide, Burkman was 4-1 in the UFC, with wins over Josh Neer and Drew Fickett and his loss was against recent number one contender Jon Fitch. Also, Burkman's last fight with Dustin Hazelett was declared the Fight of the Night at "The Ultimate Fighter 7 Finale" in June.
