Strikeforce to make Colorado debut on Oct. 3

Duane "Bang" Ludwig, Phil Baroni and Frank Trigg are among the names that will take part in Strikeforce "Payback" at the Broomfield Event Center in Denver, Colorado on Oct. 3.

Strikeforce, based in San Jose, California, has only ventured out of the state once before, to the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington in February. The UFC also debuted in Colorado at the same venue this past April.

Duane "Bang" Ludwig will fight Sammy Morgan in the main event. The fight will be rematch from Ring of Fire 16 in April 2005 that saw Morgan upset Ludwig with knockout win in 52 seconds.

Phil Baroni and Frank Trigg will compete in separate Super Fights against opponents to be determined.
