Georges St-Pierre and Jon Fitch were each awarded a $60,000 bonus by the UFC for participating in the Fight of the Night at UFC 87 from the Target Center in Minneapolis.
The main event saw St-Pierre dominate Fitch through five rounds to successfully defend his welterweight title belt for the first time.
"The Ultimate Fighter" alum Rob Emerson won the Knockout of the Night with his 12-second knockout over fellow season five contestant Manny Gamburyan. Emerson made Gamburyan pay for swinging wildly by connecting on a hard right punch that almost landed Emerson in the UFC record book for fastest knockout.
Highly decorated grappler Demian Maia won the Submission of the Night with his rear-naked choke victory over Jason MacDonald.
Maia and Emerson each earned a $60,000 bonus for the honors.
