Affliction, known more for a stacked roster of heavyweights, has signed lightweight prodigy Chris Horodecki to a three-fight deal.
Horodecki, nicknamed "The Polish Hammer," was the star lightweight for the now-defunct IFL. At only 20 years of age, Horodecki holds a record of 12-1 with six wins by way of (T)KO. His one blemish was an upset loss to to Ryan Schultz in the finals of the IFL World Grand Prix.
Affliction won the bid for Horodecki over several promotions including World Victory Road, who was interested in flying in Horodecki to Japan to fight Takanori Gomi.
Horodecki is expected to compete at the second Affliction event, "Day of Reckoning" at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.
