Olympic Silver Medalist Matt Lindland will take on former UFC light-heavyweight champion Vitor Belfort for a title in Las Vegas at the second Affliction event on Oct. 11.
Belfort revealed the fight to Tatame magazine, saying that a broken hand suffered in his July 19 knockout win against Terry Martin at the first Affliction event will not be an issue.
"The doctor will analyze it, but I may stay four weeks out," Belfort said. "I'll come back in October 11 to fight Matt Lindland for the belt."
Belfort didn't specify whether it will be an Affliction title or a WAMMA title.
The Affliction event, which takes place at the Thomas & Mack Center, is expected to feature Fedor Emelianenko defending his WAMMA belt against Andrei Arlovski. Tim Sylvia and Pedro Rizzo will also return.
