Jeff Shamrock, the nephew of UFC Hall of Famer Ken Shamrock, will make his professional mixed martial arts debut with Strikeforce.
The 18-year-old lightweight out of Ken Shamrock's Lion's Den in Reno recently signed a multi-fight deal with the San Jose-based organization.
"Jeff is a very strong and aggressive fighter," said Ken. "He has been training hard and has developed impressive skills on the matt, including his takedown and submission skills. I have no doubt that Jeff will do extremely well."
Jeff won his amateur debut in August by first-round submission at one of Ken Shamrock Promotions' "Fight at the Falls" event in Oroville, California.
