Belfort, the current light-heavyweight champion for UK's Cage Rage promotion, will drop down to middleweight for his return to the US.
Along with a new promotion to compete for, Belfort has already begun training at a new camp: the main Chute Boxe Academy in Curitiba, Brazil.
It is possible Belfort might enter the already stacked Affliction: Banned card on July 19 in Anaheim, California, but he will most likely fight on the promotion's follow-up card.
