Alistair Overeem to make DREAM debut on June 15

Strikeforce heavyweight champion Alistair Overeem will make his first appearance for the DREAM promotion on June 15 at DREAM 4 at the Saitama Super Arena in Japan.

Overeem (26-11) will be the heavy, heavy favorite when he steps in the ring against Tae Hyun Lee, who holds an overall MMA record of 1-1.

Overeem captured the Strikeforce belt in his most recent bout on November 16, 2007 by delivering his trademark knees to the body of UFC veteran Paul Buentello.

Lee started MMA in September 2006 with PRIDE, losing to Ricardo Morais by TKO at 8:08 of the first round. Lee was given an opponent with a record of 13-22 next at a K-1 Hero's event and Lee won by referee stoppage due to strikes 1:03 into the fight.
