Kudos to John Stossel of 20/20 for taking an even-handed and fair look at the question of whether kids should fight in mixed martial arts:
Stossel calls himself a fan of the sport and explains that children who are involved with it aren't hurt nearly as much as they're hurt in "acceptable" sports like cheerleading.
And then we have Robert Correia, the mayor of Fall River, Massachusetts, who knows nothing about the sport, saying that, "Anything goes. ... They don't have any rules." He wants to shut down an MMA gym in his city.
People of Fall River, what were you thinking when you elected this idiot?
