Tokoro (19-13-1), nicknamed "Cinderella Boy," went from being a janitor to knocking out former Shooto champion Alexandre "Pequeno" Nogueira with a spinning back fist in the opening round of the 2005 K-1 Hero's Grand Prix. Soon after, Tokoro became a full-time fighter and the attention landed him high-profile bouts against Royce (draw) and Royler Gracie (win) at K-1 New Year's Eve events.
Uyenoyama (4-1), a Jiu-Jitsu instructor in San Francisco, competed twice for Strikeforce this year and won both fights by submission. He is currently number one in the USA Wrestling rankings for grappling in the 136.5-pound division.
Also officially announced for DREAM 4 is the grappling bout between Mirko "Cro Cop" and Ralek Gracie.
