Silva, Palhares, Gouveia, Reljic win UFC 84 bonuses

The UFC handed out $75,000 bonuses each to Wanderlei Silva, Rousimar Palhares, Wilson Gouveia and Goran Reljic for winning the post-fight honors at Saturday's UFC 84: Ill Will.

Former PRIDE champion Silva received the knockout of the night award for his intense 36-second victory over Keith Jardine. Silva dropped Jardine and followed with devastating right hands until the Ultimate Fighter 2 veteran was left unconscious.

Palhares of Rio De Janeiro took home the submission of the night for his slick transition from back control to an armbar against Ivan Salaverry.

Undefeated Croatian Reljic and American Top Team's Gouveia shared the award for fight of the night. Reljic knocked Gouveia down with a right and finished with punches to call the referee in for the stoppage at 3:15 of the second round.

The bonuses of $75,000 were the same as UFC 83. At UFC 82, bonuses were $60,000.

UFC 84 generated $3.7 million in gate revenue with 14,773 in attendance.
