Spending the day in Las Vegas today, it's striking the way that UFC is everywhere. It's like every other person you see is a muscular guy in his 20s, with tattoos on his arms and wearing UFC or Affliction or Tapout or some other MMA-related clothing. And when those guys see a fighter, they mob him for autographs.
Whether mixed martial arts will ever become a mainstream sport in middle America is a subject of much debate. But in Vegas, there's no debate at all: UFC is big time.
