Evans vs. Irvin scrapped from UFC 85

The light heavyweight bout between Rashad Evans and James Irvin has been scrapped entirely from the June 7 UFC 85: Bedlam event at London's O2 Arena.

Irvin, who is coming off an eight-second superman punch knockout victory at UFC Fight Night 13, suffered a broken foot and had to withdraw.

Evans was originally scheduled to take on Chuck Liddell, but the former UFC light heavyweight champion tore his right hamstring during training. Evans will fight on a future UFC card.

To fill the spot of Irvin vs. Evans, the middleweight bout between Nate Marquardt and Thales Leites has been promoted to the televised main card.
