Canadastar has secured the exclusive license to distribute UFC pay-per-views in sports bars and restaurants in Canada.
"The UFC fans in Canada are some of the most passionate, loyal sports
fans I've ever known, so I am pleased that Canadastar will help make
the UFC live events available to them via closed-circuit distribution,"
UFC President Dana White said of the two-year agreement.
In America, Joe Hand Promotions, Inc. are the longtime exclusive
distributors of UFC pay-per-views in commercial establishments. Joe
Hand Promotions began distributing UFC pay-per-views in 2001 and in
February signed a new multi-year extension.
