Day to replace Leben at UFC 85 in London

Chris Leben, who was sentenced yesterday to 35 days in jail, will not compete on the UFC 85: Bedlam card at the O2 Arena in London. Jason Day will fill in for the reformed bad boy against Michael Bisping (15-1) in a middleweight bout.

With UFC 85 taking place in early June, Leben would have only had two weeks to prepare for the fight. Leben surrendered himself to authorities in Oregon last Wednesday for a probation violation stemming from a DUI conviction in 2005.

Day (17-5), fighting out of Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, won his UFC debut last month at UFC 83 against Alan Belcher by first round TKO.
