ProElite launches video-on-demand service

ProElite announced today its video-on-demand service, which will allow fans to watch individual fights as well as full events under the publicly traded company's umbrella.

The company owns EliteXC, ShoXC, Cage Rage, King of the Cage, Icon Sport and Rumble on the Rock. Also available are Fury FC, Spirit MC, and Ring of Fire (Philippines), events which were previously streamed on ProElite.com.

The majority of the individual fights cost $0.99, while the full events are priced at $4.95. There is an unlimited viewing option called the "ProElite Fight Pass" for a monthly rate of $12.95.

The UFC also has an on demand service that charges $1.99 per fight and $14.95-$19.95 per full event. Yahoo! Sports streams the live UFC pay-per-views for $44.95.
