Eddie Wineland wins 135-lb. title at Total Fight Challenge 11

Former WEC bantamweight champion Eddie Wineland returned to Total Fight Challenge and captured the promotion's 135-lb. title in the main event of "Bad Blood" Saturday night at the Hammond Civic Center in Hammond, Indiana.

Wineland's hands were too fast for Jason Tabor, who resorted to takedown attempts to avoid Wineland's strikes. Wineland was taken down early in the fight but once he found his rhythm, successfully defended the rest of Tabor's attempts. Wineland finished the fight with a flurry, dropping Tabor face first to the mat with a right for the knockout win at 4:42 of the first round.

On the main card, Charles Wilson submitted DeRay Johnson with an armbar and Juan De Dios Magana won a unanimous decision over Quinton McCottrell.

HDNet Fights was on hand to cover the event for its "Inside MMA" program.
