Former WWE superstar Brock Lesnar, in only his second mixed martial arts bout, will pocket at least $250,000 when he steps in the cage against Frank Mir at UFC 81, reports Dave Meltzer of Yahoo! Sports.
Lesnar will earn an additional $200,000 if he wins the heavyweight bout. Lesnar's pay is more than double what Georges St. Pierre and Matt Hughes each made for their welterweight interim bout at UFC 79.
Mir, a former UFC champion, will earn $40,000 guaranteed and another $40,000 if he wins.
For the two competitors in the sole title bout on the card, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Tim Sylvia will each earn a guaranteed $100,000 with a $100,000 bonus going to the victor.
