MMAFighting.com reports that organizers of the New Year's Eve fight between Fedor Emelianenko and Choi Hong-man have determined that knee strikes will not be permitted. That means Fedor won't have to face this from the 7-foot-2 Korean:
The ruling strikes me as being advantageous to Emelianenko, and therefore unnecessary and unfair. No one seriously believes that Choi is going to win the fight, which means it's ridiculous to alter the rules in Emelianenko's advantage.
