Bas Rutten Teaches You How to Fight

After UFC 78, I was talking to a friend about how much UFC has changed through the years. In the early days, UFC was a bunch of brawlers, many of whom had more experience fighting in bars than in gyms. Now they're real athletes, and any of today's top UFC fighters would destroy any of the early UFC fighters.

A good example of one of the brawlers is Bas Rutten, who was the UFC Heavyweight Champion in 1998, and who teaches you how to fight in a bar in this video:

"I don't believe in an eye for an eye, I believe in two eyes for an eye." Words to live by.

Hat tip: The Big Lead.
