The USA beat Brazil in under-20 soccer yesterday, but some Brazilian fighters can get a little revenge against their American opponents at UFC 73 tonight.
Tonight's main card features three Brazilians: Middleweight champion Anderson Silva, lightweight challenger Hermes Franca and former PRIDE heavyweight champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira making his UFC debut. The other fighters on the main card are all American.
The presence of three Brazilian fighters is a good reminder that mixed martial arts isn't just a growing sport in the United States; it's gaining popularity in much of the world. And as UFC continues to grow and unify the best mixed martial arts fighters under one umbrella organiztaion, it's giving fighters from around the world the opportunity to fight in America.
