The text messages that pro wrestler Chris Benoit sent to WWE employees alarmed them and eventually led to them asking local law enforcement to visit his home, where police found the bodies of Benoit, his wife and their son. The text messages (which have been published by the Miami Herald) appear to be an attempt to get someone to check in on him and his family:
