WWE Releases Chris Benoit Text Messages, Says Couple Fought Over Son's Disability

The text messages that pro wrestler Chris Benoit sent to WWE employees alarmed them and eventually led to them asking local law enforcement to visit his home, where police found the bodies of Benoit, his wife and their son.

The text messages (which have been published by the Miami Herald) appear to be an attempt to get someone to check in on him and his family:

Text Message 1 to two co-workers (sent 6/24 at 3:53 a.m.)- Chris Benoit's cell phone

"My physical address is 130 Green Meadow Lane, Fayetteville Georgia. 30215''

Text Message 2 to two co-workers (sent 6/24 at 3:53 a.m.)- Chris Benoit's cell phone

"The dogs are in the enclosed pool area. Garage side door is open''

There are also reports that Chris and Nancy Benoit frequently fought over how to care for their son, who had Fragile X Syndrome. Although previous reports about the needle marks in the boy's arm implied that the Benoits were injecting him with human growth hormone because they wanted him to be huge, it appears that the needle marks were the result of legitimate and necessary medical care.
