One of the things I've liked about the run-up to tonight's Ultimate Fighting Championship event is that neither of the combatants in the main event, light heavyweight champion Chuck Liddell and challenger Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, have felt the need to act like idiots. (That stands in stark contrast to the way Floyd Mayweather hyped his fight with Oscar De La Hoya.) This video is a good example:
Although Liddell and Jackson say they'll knock each other out, they do it without the rancor usually associated with the run-up to big fights. Peyton Manning and Brian Urlacher didn't feel the need to talk a lot of trash before the Super Bowl, and neither do Liddell or Jackson. That's a good thing.
