An injury to veteran kickboxer Cyrille Diabate brought an early halt to his UFC on Fuel 7 light heavyweight bout with Jimi Manuwa on Saturday.

Diabate suffered an apparent left calf injury late in the first round of their fight, which was was called off by the cageside doctor between rounds. It goes into the books as a TKO win for Manuwa.

While there was no clear point at which Diabate suffered an obvious injury, it may have occurred during a late takedown by Manuwa.

Manuwa, fighting in his hometown of London, improved to 13-0, including both of his UFC bouts. The 39-year-old Diabate dropped to 19-9-1.
