But Saturday night in Notthingham, he met his match in the wily Wiman. Taken down early in the fight, Wiman, working from the bottom, matched Sass sub for sub and eventually took the fight via armbar.

Wiman (15-6) won for the ninth time in 13 UFC fights, including five of his last six bouts. He was emotional in his postfight interview, holding back tears.
"You can't go in there and break him, you've just got to try to beat him," Wiman said. I knew Sass was going to bring it, I have so much respect for him. I had so many nerves coming into this fight. I just feel lucky and blessed to come out on the winning side."
