Brookins takes Oliveira to the ground. Oliveira goes for an arm bar. Brookins back to his feet, grabbing at the grounded Oliveira's legs. Oliveira back to his feet. Oliveira very comfortable with his strikes, tags Brookins with a big right hand. Oliveira the aggressor, landing combos. Brookins scores with a combo. A Superman punch and a knee by Oliveira. Brookins catches an Oliveira kick late. MMAFighting scores the round for Charles Oliveira, 10-9.

Round 2: Oliveira just misses with an ax kick. A nice flurry by Brookins cuts Oliveira open. Open-handed slaps by Brookins. Brookins showing good spirit after losing the first round. Oliveira goes for a takedown and Brookins responds with a standing guillotine. Oliveira picks up Brookins and slams him, but Brookins holds on to the choke. Oliveira breaks the hold. Midway through the round. Oliveira gets a guillotine, wraps Brookins up, and that's all she wrote as Brookins taps.
