Stefan Struve vs. Lavar Johnson is one of the five fights on the UFC 146 main card (Esther Lin, MMA Fighting).
LAS VEGAS -- This is the UFC 146 live blog for Stefan Struve vs. Lavar Johnson, a heavyweight bout on tonight's UFC event from the MGM Grand.
Struve, who has won four of his past five fights, will battle Johnson, who has won his first two UFC fights, on the main card.

Round 1: Josh Rosenthal is our referee. Johnson wastes no time going to work on Struve, backing him against the fence with a thunderous body shot and then slamming an uppercut home. Struve takes it well and clinches up, then quickly pulls guard and rolls for an armbar. Johnson can’t get his arm out, and is a little slow in tapping as Struve flips him over. Rosenthal gets in there right away to try and save him, but judging by his wincing expression, the damage may already be done. Struve gets up and runs around the cage in celebration.
