Good counter one-two by Siver, but Nunes keeps hacking away with leg kicks. Nunes lands a left hook, and Siver comes back with a right. Nunes grabs a clinch in the final ten seconds and fires off some knees before Siver knocks him back. There's the horn. MMA Fighting scores it 10-10.

Round 2:
The two men resume the leg kick battle to start the second. Nunes fires off a spinning back kick, attempting to use Siver's best weapon against him. Siver wraps up a clinch and trips Nunes to the mat, but again can't keep him down for long. Nunes keeps picking away at Siver from the outside. There's the spinning back kick by Siver, and Nunes takes it high on the torso without much trouble. Siver presses the attack in the final minute, and Nunes has to focus on defense as the clock ticks down to zero. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 for Siver.

Round 3: The tempo picks up to start the third. Siver ducks under a hook and lands a hard left hook. Nunes comes back with an attack of his own that briefly buckles the German. Siver ducks under another hook and gets a grip on Nunes, but loses it quickly. Nunes gets the clinch fires off a few knees. In close, he's had the better control all night long. Makes you wonder why he's insisted on fighting from so far outside for much of the bout. Siver is cut around his left eye and the blood is dripping down his chest. Nunes tries a spinning back kick and Siver commits to a takedown. He'll have to settle for the clinch for now, but with less than a minute to go in close fight it's still up for grabs. Nunes blasts away with knees from the clinch and Siver fires back, dropping him, though it might have been more of a slip. The blood is really getting going just as the horn sounds. Nunes' corner rushes in to pick him up in a victory hug, but this one could be close. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 for Nunes.
