I like this interview...

..Rampage just gave a lot of insight into his (and possible other fighters) mindset. Good info here.

Rampage is always moaning about wrestlers, but I say, learn some real takedown defence. Stop getting taken down and try to control the fight so they fight your way.

He is complaining about something that’s apart of the sport. No one is making him compete in mma. Your supposed to evolve as a fighter. Why would you stand and bang with someone if you knew they are better in that area.

The same Rampage who successfully shut down a lot of Jon Jones’ wrestling offense? He’s not taken down that often if you actually watch a lot of his fights. He even called himself a wrestler in the video. Seems like a random Joe Rogan fueled rant.

Joe Rogan does a better job than MOST color commentators

Regardless of what rampage thinks Joe Rogan should do, Rogan’s job requires that he is critical of a fighter in that moment. He’s fought for years in Tae Kwon Doe (National Champion), Amateur Kickboxing, and is a high level 10th Planet practitioner. On top of that, he entertains people for a living through stand up, and is a true fan of the sport. He’s also a Boxing nerd and he could go toe to toe with most boxing experts trivia-wise.

Some color commentating isn’t for everyone, and it isn’t for Rampage especially. Rampage is a true warrior, and one of the most exciting fighters ever to step into a ring, or the Octagon. Rogan agrees, and has taken the high road. Unless you’ve fought as many times as rampage, KO’d people by slamming him, and become a UFC Light Heavyweight Champion (or similar), it seems as though Rampage isn’t going to take any criticism (live or otherwise) from anyone. Even if his style from the Pride days no longer translates well in the modern day.

Possibly about the most open and honest Rampage I think I’ve seen in a long while

These videos load so slow

Does anyone else have issues with these videos? It takes me at least twice as long as the video takes to watch just to load them. Never had any issues with any other website videos.
