Cung Le - Anton Tabuena, MMA Fighting

Years from now, mixed martial arts fans around Asia will likely claim they were in attendance at Macau's Cotai Arena the night Cung Le dropped Rich Franklin with a one-punchout.

But the actual attendance for UFC on Fuel TV 6 was 8,415. The UFC announced the figure at Saturday's post-fight press conference.

Paid gate at the 15,000-seat capacity arena, which is part of the Venetian Macau casino, was $1.3 million U.S.

The gate marks the second-highest in UFC on Fuel TV series history, behind UFC on Fuel TV 2, which drew $2.23 million for Alexander Gustafsson's win over Thiago Silva in Stockholm, Sweden.

The event, the UFC's first in the People's Republic of China, was the company's second in Asia during 2012. UFC 144 was held in Saitama, Japan on Feb. 26.
