UFC lightweight champion B.J. Penn says that he will next defend his belt at UFC 112 in Abu Dhabi.

The champ made the claim on a video posted to his official site, BJPenn.com.

LAS VEGAS -- When FanHouse spoke to Frankie Edgar following his victory against Matt Veach on Saturday night, the New Jersey native said that he was surprised with Veach's strength and wrestling abilities in the first round, but was able to regroup to secure the second-round rear-naked choke submission.

Edgar also talked about where this victory places him in the stacked UFC lightweight division. The video interview is below.

In another win for one of the top lightweights in the UFC, Frank Edgar beat Matt Veach by second-round submission Saturday night at the Ultimate Fighter Finale in Las Vegas.

Veach landed three huge takedowns in the early portion of the first round, showing off his wrestling base and picking Edgar up and slamming him to the ground. The problem was that Veach didn't do much once he got Edgar onto the ground. And when Edgar would get back to his feet, he'd show off crisper, more accurate striking.
