Ben Henderson vs. Donald Cerrone WEC 43 Fight Available Online

Ben Henderson's unanimous decision victory over Donald Cerrone at WEC 43 has been labeled by some as the fight of the year, and those who missed it on Saturday night can now watch it online for free.

The WEC announced Wednesday that both WEC.tv and UFC.com are carrying the fight. It will also re-air on Versus Thursday at 8 PM ET.

WEC 43 Official Scorecards

FanHouse has the official scorecards for the six fights that went to a decision at Saturday's WEC 43 in San Antonio, Texas.

The main event between Donald Cerrone and Ben Henderson has been much-discussed due to the close nature of the bout, but it was Raphael Assuncao vs. Yves Jabouin that had the head-scratchings scores of 29-28, 30-27 and 27-30.

FanHouse has WEC results of WEC 43 featuring Donald Cerrone vs. Ben Henderson for the interim lightweight title at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas.

The two friends will do battle for the opportunity to take on Jamie Varner at WEC 45 in December to unify the belts.

In the co-headliner, undefeated Team Quest member Dave Jansen will make his promotional debut against former lightweight title challenger Rich Crunkilton.

The WEC has confirmed all ten bouts for the rescheduled WEC 43 card on Oct. 10 at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas.

The card was pushed back last month when Ben Henderson went down due to an undisclosed injury. He'll be back and ready to take on Donald Cerrone in a lightweight tilt to determine the interim WEC lightweight champion.

WEC 43 Delay a Good Move, DirecTV Subscribers Would Have Been Left Out

Much has been said and written about the decision of World Extreme Cagefighting to move back its scheduled September 2 WEC 43 show to October 10, and in everything that's been said and written, the WEC has insisted that it had nothing to do with the ongoing dispute between DirecTV and the WEC's home network, Versus.

But whether the DirecTV-Versus battle had anything to do with it or not, it's a good thing for MMA fans who are DirecTV subscribers that the show was moved back. Because as of 12:01 AM ET Tuesday, Versus is no longer available on DiercTV.

WEC 43 Moved to AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas

The WEC has selected the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas as the new site of the recently postponed WEC 43 event rescheduled due to an undisclosed injury suffered by main eventer Ben Henderson.

Henderson was slated to take on Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone in an interim lightweight bout on Sept. 2 in Youngstown, Ohio. Now, the championship fight and the remainder of the nine bouts on the card will remain intact with a new venue and Oct. 10 date -- the WEC's first Saturday engagement.

WEC Explains Fight Card Postponement

A day after World Extreme Cagefighting announced that it had postponed its previously scheduled Sept. 2 fight card, WEC Vice President Peter Dropick said in an interview with FanHouse that the organization will move forward with the same fight card on October 10, and saying of the Donald Cerrone vs. Ben Henderson main event, "Fans want to see this fight."

Dropick also said the dispute between DirecTV and Versus, WEC's television network, had nothing to do with the decision to postpone the card, and that ticket sales were tracking as expected in Youngstown, Ohio, but that the card will now take place in a yet-to-be-determined city.

Damacio PageA bout between two top 10 bantamweights has been signed for WEC 43 on Sept. 2 in Youngstown, Ohio.

FanHouse has learned that Damacio Page (11-4) will take on former Shooto 143-pound champion Akitoshi Tamura (13-7-2) at the event headlined by an interim lightweight title bout between Donald Cerrone and Ben Henderson.
