That was a lame fight. People bagged on Jones for running against Rampage? Condit just ran a marathon. And the whole time Jackson is screaming “YYYEAAAHHH!” if Condit even adjusted his cup. Disgusting, political style of fighting.

couldn't agree more!

I was MAD when Jones did that, but at least he got the finish. If you can’t finish someone, i don’t think your better then them, especially if you did nothing but run away from any of the engagement. UFC needs to know start DQing and taking away points for inactivity cause that was such a horrible match to watch. YOu have one guy that wants to fight and another that wants to run away and score just to win. Not really what i paid for UFC. They really need to start putting in more rules that where in Pride and other MMA events. This whole “running” “marathon” shit is just lame and in my opinion is more unsportsmanlike then anything else.

It was disrespectful when Anderson Silva did it to Maia and he should had got DQed or had points taken away for it. Its no different here. People paid to see a fight, not watch Nick punch, while Condit just ran away for 5 rounds. I don’t want to see UFC 112 like rounds ever again, and same goes for this.

Ha ha ha Diaz nuthuggers are the funniest They think everyone is against Diaz lol

Well what Condit was supposed to do play Diaz’s game and brawl?Fuck he was there to win the fight and he was Dominating 2,nd 3,rd and 4th rounds he also won the first but it was close I gave the 5th to Diaz!Condit is a smart fighter and he learned from he PJ Penn vs Diaz were PJ.started brawling after the 1st round and got beat bad!!!Hey man Condit is doing this for a living to feed his family not to go in there and get knocked the fuck out just so you have have a good time coz u like to see KOs.I was rooting for Diaz coz I really wanna to see St.Pierre beat the shit out him witch after seeing this fight I have no doubt at all he would of in the same fashion as he did it to Serra 2 and Penn 2.Diaz isn’t even in the same class as St.Pierre is.I don’t know why u guys bitching about Jones and Condit moving back they both won their fights and part of MMA is not to get hit.WTF should they do stop and let thei opponents punch’em straight into the face or what. You guys just pissed coz Diaz and Rampage were the ones u guys were rooting for.Don’t blame Condit and Jones,Blame Diaz and Rampage for not being able to get to them they had the same time for training for the fight and they should have tried different stuff!!!And no matter what happened in the Diaz vs Condit fight coz Dumb fuck Diaz tested positive anyways so he would have lost the belt even if he won it so he let his team mates, coaches and all of u guys done ithe diot!!!

How does a championship fight not mean much?

the whole point of this sport is to beat people with your style of fighting…it’s not to get lulled into fighting the way the other fighter wants you too fight which is exactly how diaz wins the majority of his fights…condit did not fall for this…condit knew when to get out of danger while also doing some small but significant damage over time…while it wasn’t enough to earn him a finish it did earn him a victory….and i’m 100% sure condit is happy with that

No doubt he’s happy with it. It’s a dismal style of fighting that it seems like Jackson’s camp is employing a lot. Condit did everything but jump the fence and hit the parking lot. I like Bones, so I hope this isn’t what we see from him against Evans.
As for the fight this showdown with GSP, we’ll now have lay n pray vs the marathon runner. Great fight!

?O_o? "we’ll now have lay n pray vs the marathon runner"

Wait…how was that a “great fight” then? All i saw was him running way from Diaz and just avoiding any engagement. Far from a great fight. Let me as you this…would you even watch it again?

I’ve NEVER watched a Edgar fight twice, watch it once and then call it a day. Now BJ Penn on the other hand…..many, many great fights to watch of his. Same for Diaz. I just can’t sit there and watch someone avoid the actual point of me watching it and then say “great fight” i’ll watch it again. I don’t think i ever want to see such a match again. I can watch Henderson VS Shogun any day..cause you know, they actually FOUGHT. Can’t say the same for Condit, hes a great runner and dodger though i’ll give him that. Fighter? Didn’t see a whole lot of that last night.

I expected sour grapes from Diaz

Condit whipped him. It was a unanimous decision. Case closed!

Diaz’ unsportsmanlike actions of taunting during the fight, and his comments in his loss, are indicative of exactly what the UFC does NOT need, or want.

If he retires, that’s just fine with most of us.

I’m not a fan of Diaz’s antics, but get over yourself. I don’t wanna see the guy retire because he actually has real, exciting fights. He’s exactly what the UFC needs.

UFC needs someone thats actually fighting for a KO or Sub. Not a "layer/prayer"

Diaz being “unsportsmanlike” has nothing to do with anything. Hes a fighter like everyone else and he loves to compete. That being said, his character has nothing to do with it, this is not a popularity contest.

I don’t really call “whipping” running away from Diaz every single round. The truth is (and every Boxing and MMA FAN knows it) is that UFC always too much inactivity and running away as “winning” you didn’t hurt him, you didn’t KO him, you didn’t get him to the ground…in fact you didn’t even engage the fight for more then 2 minutes combined. This my friends is not “whipping” this is laying/praying. If your the best, take him down, hurt him, KO him….sub him period. In Pride you can get DQed or have points taken way for not engaging in the fight. In Boxing you can get DQed and also have points taken away for inactivity…why is it that UFC has not done anything about this? Would you call Edgar better then BJ Penn despite Penn KOing and submitting so many more opponents? So if Edgar and Penn where in Pride….how does that sound now? Cause to me, it sounds like Edgar getting DQed for running away. I feel sorry for who ever paid to see that running fest live.
