UPDATE 11/20 -- The American Kickboxing Academy and the UFC have worked out their differences, and Jon Fitch as well as Christian Wellisch are back with the UFC. Josh Koscheck and Cain Velasquez will also stay with the company.

Welterweight Mike Swick will be one of the members of the American Kickboxing Academy safe from the UFC's cuts.

"Out of the AKA people, one guy called me, and said 'Yeah, this is a bad move, I'm in. I'm with you,'" UFC president Dana White said, referring to Swick, on The Carmichael Dave Show on Sports 1140 KHTK.

White said he no longer wants do business with anyone with AKA, but made an exception for Swick, who personally reached out to him.

"The guys who run AKA are morons," White said on the show. "These guys are flat out morons. These morons are making decisions for fighters that are going to affect the rest of their lives."

The UFC has already released AKA fighters Jon Fitch and Christian Wellisch.

White wouldn't confirm the status of the two other big names on the AKA roster Josh Kosheck and Cain Velasquez.

Swick (12-2), a popular contestant on the first season of "The Ultimate Fighter," has won his last two fights since dropping down to welterweight.
