Joe Stevenson earns BJJ black belt

Joe Stevenson will enter his UFC 91 fight against Kenny Florian as a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt.

Stevenson received his black belt on Saturday from Robert Drysdale, Xtreme Couture’s BJJ head instructor, at Stevenson’s Cobra Kai gym in Victorville, California.

Three of Stevenson’s five UFC wins have come by submission – all guillotine chokes.
