Next week's WEC postponed until Nov. 5

The WEC has pushed back its WEC: Faber vs. Brown event till Nov. 5 due to the threat of a hurricane in South Florida.

The event was scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 10 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood. Tickets for the Sept. 10 event will be valid for Nov. 5. Refunds are also available for those unable to attend the event in November.

"Due to the potential of a major hurricane hitting the South Florida area on Wednesday we were compelled to postpone the event," said Peter Dropick, the WEC's VP of Operations and Production. "For the safety of our fans, the fighters and our staff we felt it was in the best interest to make this decision."
