UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva's 61-second dismantling of James Irvin was seen by 3.8 million viewers Saturday at "UFC Fight Night: Silva vs. Irvin" on Spike TV.

Offered for free on TV to counter the "Affliction: Banned" event on pay-per-view, the event was built around Silva's first step in the UFC's light-heavyweight division.

The event, which ran three hours from 9pm-12am ET, earned an overall household rating of 2.1 and drew an average of 3.1 million viewers. Ratings for the six-bout live card was higher than any other broadcast or cable channel in Men 18-49, 25,34 and Persons 18-34.
