Longtime veteran Rameau Sokoudjou headed up a list of eight fighters that were cut by Bellator on Wednesday.
It was a throwback night in a sense, as Pride FC veterans James Thompson and Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou both scored effortless first-round stoppage wins in their Bellator debuts at Bellator 121.
James Thompson won one of the most absurd (but well promoted) fights in Bellator history, pounding out Eric Prindle in the first round. Sokoudjou also won his Bellator debut.

Seven years after Sokoudjou's spectacular beginnings, reminders of his fateful Pride FC run still follow the judoka "all day, every day" -- for better or worse.
