Jake Ellenberger and Bryan Barberena look to be fighting each other after all.
Following their fight getting scrapped at UFC Utica due to a Barberena injury, the welterweight clash will happen at UFC Lincoln on Aug. 25 in Nebraska, sources confirmed with MMA Fighting on Thursday. Barberena tweeted about the fight Wednesday.

Ellenberger (31-14), a Nebraska native, has had a tough go in recent years. The well-known and popular veteran has dropped three straight, most recently a first-round TKO loss to replacement Ben Saunders on the aforementioned Utica card in June. Ellenberger, 33, has just two wins in his last 10 fights, but is always a knockout threat.
Barberena (13-5) is coming off a loss to Leon Edwards via unanimous decision last September. The Arizona resident and MMA Lab product has dropped two of three, but won three of his last five. Barberena, 29, owns a win over Ellenberger’s brother Joe.
UFC Lincoln is headlined by a lightweight fight between Justin Gaethje and James Vick. Also on the card, Michael Johnson faces Andre Fili.
